Multifactor Authentication

您必须使用两种方法设置MFA:

1. The Microsoft Authenticator Mobile App 最安全的验证方法是什么. 登录VSU虚拟/远程计算机时也需要使用此方法. 您最多可以在3个移动设备上安装该应用程序.
2. The Phone 方法允许您接收调用或文本代码. 它可以作为移动应用程序方法的替代方案.

设置MFA以使用Microsoft Authenticator App:

On your mobile device:

• Install the Microsoft Authenticator App 从你的移动设备App Store(支持Windows, Android和Apple).

On your computer:

• Sign in to MyVSU. 系统将提示您输入其他信息. Click Next.
• 系统将提示您下载移动应用程序. Click Next. Or if you haven't installed it, 按照以下步骤在您的移动设备上下载应用程序, and then click Next.
• 阅读说明设置您的帐户. Click Next.

On your mobile device:

• 打开Authenticator应用程序并单击 Accept > Continue > Add work or school account > Scan QR code > 允许应用程序使用你设备的摄像头.

On your computer:

• With your mobile device, scan the QR code displayed on your computer. 帐户添加到Authenticator应用程序后，单击 Next on the computer.

On your mobile device:

Set up MFA for using a Phone:

On your computer:

• Click Next 在“通知已批准”屏幕上.
• Select Country from the drowdown and Enter phone number.
• Select Receive a code (use a mobile number) OR Call me (use a mobile or landline number)
• Click Next.
• If you selected to receive a code:
  • enter the 6-digit code 是发到你提供的手机号上的.
• If you selected to receive a call:

• Click Next and then click Done after successful registration.

Take the extra step.

Now that you've completed the setup, 您可以开始登录到您的VSU帐户(MyVSU), OneUSG, GeorgiaFIRST)在提示时使用MFA更安全.

1. At the login screen, 输入您的VSU用户名和密码 > click Sign In.

2. 系统会根据您选择的方法提示您填写其他信息:

• Authenticator App: 打开发送到移动设备的通知，选择相应的号码，或者打开Authenticator应用程序，点击屏幕上显示的相应号码.
• Phone Call: 接微软打来的电话，按#号键.
• Text: 输入发送到您提供的电话号码的6位数代码.

That's it. You're in!

也许你得到了一个新的电话或号码，或者你想添加/删除一个MFA方法. 无论出于何种原因，您都可以按照以下步骤管理您的安全信息:

Sign in to the Microsoft Security Info Portal using your MyVSU credentials 当出现提示时，使用当前方法进行身份验证. 完成后，通过单击您的 profile image or initials and selecting Sign out.

• To edit an existing method, select Change on corresponding line.
• To delete an existing method, select Delete on corresponding line.
• To add a new method, select +Add sign-in method 然后从下拉菜单中选择并按照说明添加所需的信息.
• To change your default method, select Change on the 最可取的登录方法不可用 line at the top of the screen.

MFA in Action!

MFA notifications (app, text, (或电话)只有在登录时输入用户名和密码并尝试验证后才会发送. 如果您在未尝试登录时收到验证通知, 这将表明有人试图登录您的帐户, 那个人知道你的账户密码. 如果发生这种情况，多因素身份验证使您的帐户免于非法访问!

What to do?

当您收到非法通知时, 根据所设置的通知方法的类型，执行以下其中一项操作:

• 没有轻按或输入透过手机应用程式提供的号码.
• 不输入通过短信发送的验证码.
• 当你接到电话时，不要按#号键.
